About KITEWIND

I am just getting started! New kite spots are being added soonish, so check back often.

As a passionate kitesurfer, I was never fully satisfied with the existing wind statistic sites. That's why I set out to cut through the noise and show real, kiteable hours - when the wind is 15 knots or above and during daylight, not just the vague "around 4 Beaufort".

My goal is simple: to help me and other kiters find the perfect spot for their next trip and spend more time on the water. The current data comes from the OpenWeather API, which means forecasts do not include thermal winds.
